Meet The Staff:
Kari Nichols, Manager, Holly's Quilt Cabin:
Kari is married and has 2 grown girls. Many of you have met her husband "Pain in the Nick" at different times in the store- especially during Shop Hop where he likes to help. She has been with The Quilt Cabin Ltd. since Quilting Up A Storm opened in January, 2001, and was manager of Quilts In The Attic for 4 1/2 years.
Kari's is also the main designer and pattern writer for Mountainpeek Creations. Her design worked began with stained glass. One of her first patterns was a fabric re-creation of a glass piece she had done. Mountain Splendor is one of three stained glass patterns along with many other pieced pattern designs sold throughout the country.
Pam Cosgrove - Long Arm Quilter
I have been working about 9 years for Quilts in the Attic (now Holly's Cabin in Centennial). I do the long arm quilting for the shops. We now have 8 long arm quilter's that work for us, so we have come along way from when I started with about 4 quilts a month.
We do all kinds of quilting for our customer's --- basic stipple to heirloom. There is a sample cloth that demonstrates some of these designs at the Quilt Cabin & now at the new store. We also have a "quilt book" that shows many different designs that customers can choose from for their own quilts.
Barb Harris, Kit Manager, Holly's Quilt Cabin:
I have been involved in quilting approximately 11 to 12 years.
My family consists of my husband, 3 grown children, and 2 dogs.
I greatly enjoy working with people in general but especially quilters. What a wonderful group of people they are!.
